| Description: | The Proposal Writer provides communications support for the University’s fundraising program, particularly as the program relates to overarching University goals and objectives. This position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and works in collaboration with administrators and staff in the Office of University Development, the Office of University Relations, and other colleagues throughout the Division of University Advancement and the University. | ||
| Minimum Requirements: | Candidates must possess the following qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education · Work experience in journalism, public relations, development and/or related fields · Strong communication skills: written, verbal, listening · Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer technology skills · Experience with major gift cultivation and solicitation | ||
