A friend of mine has a technical writing position open at a firm in
Wisconsin. They are located just outside of Fond du Lac, WI, about an
hour from Milwaukee and it is an on-site, permanent position. The
company is a division of Mercury Marine, which is one of Brunswick's
companies. Mercury Racing is a high-energy, innovative place to work.
This position will work on service, operations, and installation
literature for marine power packages (outboard as well as sterndrive
engines). While product knowledge would be helpful, it is not imperative
given a willingness to learn and an ability to communicate very
technical information.

The manager is Howard Blades; resumes can
be sent to Howard_Blades >>at<< mercmarine.com.
As an active STC member, he is really
looking for an STC member to fill
