Feb. 23 Meeting: What do Employers of Writers Want?
Who: The Arkansas chapter of the Society for Technical Communication
What: A Panel: What do employers of writers want to see in resumes, portfolios, and interviews?
Where: UALR Donaghey Student Center, Meeting Room D (in the Diamond or main dining area of the Donaghey Student Center, down the ramp on the left as you enter the main dining area).
When: Saturday, February 23, 2008, 11 a.m. to noon.
Why: To help students (and others) plan for job searches. The panel will consist of professionals in central Arkansas who hire writers or have been hired recently themselves. The meeting is free and open to the public.
